Blog Content

A blog or an article, what's the difference?! Typically, a blog is in first person point of view- it's like a short, casual conversation with the blog reader and it is based on opinion (in our case, expert opinion). An article is in third person point of view- think of an in-depth informational article in the New York Times - and article content is researched and contains sources. With that knowledge you can decide what is better for you and what your intention is...

If you go the blog route, keeping your blogs consistently updated is a great way to keep a strong presence online. It can improve your chances of being discovered on an organic internet search and lets potential clients know your practice is still active! You can educate potential clients and have a greater chance of turning visitors into clients. Having new content consistently posted on your website also helps with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)!!

You can decide how many blogs you want to purchase- just one to get you started, receive them periodically or receive them consistently for you to push out on your online platforms. I will collaborate with you about blog topics and titles, write the blogs for you, and deliver them to you when you choose. You will own the blog and can make any modifications you wish!

Article Writing

Articles are a great way to show your sophisticated style of writing on a topic. It also has the ability to impress your potential clients a bit more than a blog post because it doesn't contain your opinion but interviews and research and is fact based (without your interpretation usually). You are simply gathering information from resources and putting it together for your reader. Articles can include data, graphs, and statistics.

You can choose how many articles you want. You pick the topic, and I would research and write. Each article will be delivered electronically to you when you request. You will own the article, but it shouldn't be modified unless based on research you wish to add.

Email Scripting

These are the forms of email scripts that I am most comfortable writing:

  • Topic Development (when you are looking to your audience for topic ideas for future blogs, articles, podcasts, videos, etc)

  • Influencer Outreach (when you are trying to connect with influencers to help build your empire)

  • Email Subscribers (when you have readers that subscribe to your mailing list)

Once the email script is written it is easy for you to modify and use in the future.

You can decide what scripts would suit you best and we can work together to build an email script. You will own each script and you can feel free to modify as you see fit.

Script Writing (i.e Podcasts, radio/tv interviews, YouTube channels)

Did you know that streaming services such as podcasts have grown substantially in the past few years? You can find almost any topic imaginable on a podcast or YouTube channel. Radio recordings are also readily available online! Do you want to join the trend but don't know how to write a script? You can arrange the recording and I can write the script.

You decide the topics and titles, I write the scripts and deliver them to you when you choose. You will own the script and can make any modifications you choose!

Social Media Posts

With so many people using social media it is almost a requirement for a business to make their presence known on these platforms. Just like blogging, social media content needs to be updated consistently. You want people visiting your page to know you are active in your business and engaging content can turn a reader/viewer into a client! Social media content creation is a bit of an art- it is more than posting memes and a few words of wisdom. To have your posts stand out it is necessary to have knowledge and skills to do graphic design and copy creation (it is frowned upon to just "borrow" from others and use their creations on our pages).

Our work together for social media content can happen in a couple different ways. I offer the option to take over your social media posts (This means I log in to your account and organize all the posts and push them out on a regular basis- you determine how often). Another option is that I research content topics, write a post (sometimes with an image), and send it you for you to post.

Website Content

To stand out from other counselors you must present yourself well on your business website- this is after all the first image a potential client sees of you. Your website should be a reflection of you as a counselor and should speak directly to the clients you are trying to reach. This can mean having content for standard pages such as About Me, Home Page, and a Specialty Page. With the help of a website content writer, you can stand out! This means you increase your chances of a potential client reaching out. Along with presenting yourself well it is a part of a content writers work to make sure you stand out for organic internet searches (AKA SEO). I research keywords to make sure they are included in your content, so your page shows up higher in search results.

You can decide how many website pages you want to purchase- the options are limitless. The most common are: About, Services, and Landing Page. As a counselor I also often get requests to write up a page describing what counseling is, how to pick a counselor, and some FAQs about counseling. I will collaborate with you on what pages (or content) you wish to have written, write the pages for you, and deliver them to you when you choose. You will own the content and can make any modifications you wish!

Policy and Procedure Content Development


Having clear and concise policies and procedures can allow a business to run like a well-oiled machine. Most times an agency or business has policy and procedure documents, but they are not organized, written in everyday language, or are missing pieces. This can make training difficult; it can cause conflict; it can make any sort of reprimanding difficult and can just make a job frustrating.

We can work together to gather the necessary information and identify what your needs and goals are. I can provide feedback on new and existing documents, suggest revisions to incorporate best practices, and work with you to write effective policies and procedures.

Cost based on number of words:

Less than 300 words (typically social media posts): $30

300-800 words (typically blogs, email scripting, and script writing): $125

800-1500 words (typically articles): $200
